Nebraska Wildlife Safari Park

It seems like the theme of this blog is "Catching up." Or, "Here's something I did a long time ago!" Well, in keeping with that theme, here's some pictures from 2017! I can't beleive the last time I posted on this blog was 2016. And the pictures in that post were from 2014. This is just kind of sad. And maybe hilarious.

Anyway, back in the summer of 2017, my cousin Sarah and I went to the Henry Doorly Zoo's Wildlife Safari Park in Ashland, Nebraska. I edited these not long after they were taken, and then kind of forgot about them. I'd promise to do better in the future, but I know myself too well.

Sarah and I did a lot of things in 2017, and I have lots of pictures. One of these days I will get caught up, and there will be more photography here. In the meantime, I have another post about this trip, with even more pictures on my main blog, you can click HERE to read that.

Swallows

I know it's been months since I posted here. Hopefully I'll do better about updating this blog in the future, but for now I have one picture that I wanted to share. I snapped this just by chance, I didn't set out to take it, and I wasn't even using my fancy camera. It turned out so well, I thought it worthy of it's own post.

Feathered Attitudes

I’ve heard that most parrots  and their relatives can be downright little stinkers sometimes. Looking at them at the zoo you can tell that they’re not just a pretty face. They each have their own personality.

This cockatoo spent the whole time I was around him climbing up and down his cage with the beak telling everyone who came to see him, hello and goodbye.

“I’m Gorgeous.”

Yellow Bird

This little parrot was so cute as it played in the water that I couldn’t help but take a whole bunch of pictures of it. :)
