Paperweight

As readers of my other blog know, I recently got a Mac computer, which is not compatible with my current blogging program, Windows Live Writer. This is pretty much an endless source of frustration for me, and to mix that frustration with the fact that I have a lot of school work to focus on, my blogs have suffered. Especially this one. I have only made two posts here since the beginning of the year. It will not always be that way, and hopefully one day someone will come out with a good program for Mac that can do all the same things that Live Writer does. Until then, I am going to try to make the online blogging service work for me. I probably will not have much success, and I'll resort to using my PC for blogging here, as I still do for my other blog.

So for my post today, I am using some experimental pictures that I made during a class project, of a paperweight with a jellyfish inside. I'm pretty sure the jellyfish is glass, but it could be real. Either way, I think it's very cool.

For anyone curious as to how I made these pictures, here is a before and after shot showing the inside of the light tent, and after I had cleaned it up in Photoshop.

I am still not able to get the sizes just right, so I will keep exploring my options. As it looks now blogging will be a much longer process than it has been. I hope to get some new content up soon, but that all depends on school for now. This semester is very busy.
