@ The Zoo #1

Quite often when I go to the zoo, I get a lot of pictures where I may only have one or two good ones of a particular kind of animal, not enough to do a whole post on them. I also take pictures of different things around the zoo, buildings, plants, etc, which really don't fit into an animal post. Because of this, I think I will start a semi-regular feature, where I post pictures of a variety of animals, and I‘ll entitle the feature as I have this one, “@ The Zoo”. Here are today’s.

A Drippy Mess

I really liked putting together my last "Odd" post, so I decided to do another one. As I started putting it together I found myself adding more than a few ostriches to it. I didn’t want there to be too many, so I decided to make a separate post featuring just these weird ostrich pictures. A more diverse “Odd” post will be coming later.

Saturday when I went to the zoo, the ostriches were having a dip in the moat to cool off. Add to this the fact that they appeared to be molting and you have a very “Odd” sight indeed. Good thing Ostriches aren’t self conscious.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

June Birds

When I go to the zoo, one of my favorite things to photograph is the birds. But as you’ll see here, there are a lot more for me to photograph than just the ones that the zoo has on display.
